Many universities are already under strain to ensure existing students—especially those already funded—can continue and graduate successfully. This means there may be fewer resources or opportunities available for incoming students who arrive without funding in hand.
This isn’t meant to discourage anyone, but rather to help you make fully informed decisions. Please take this into account when evaluating your options, and consider having a clear financial backup plan if funding is uncertain.
